The best tobacco plantations are located in Pinar del Rio province. We suggest you use the hotels or private houses in Viñales Valley area as a base to explore the near by plantations in the area known as Vueltabajo.
Viñales Valley is 2 hours drive from Havana we recommend to stay at least a couple of nights in the area to experience the most beautiful landscape of Cuba.
The harvest of Tobacco takes place in the months of December, January and February. Tobacco plants take around 3 months to mature.
