What is the risk of Hurricanes in Cuba in October 2009?

The hurricane season in the Cuba starts in July and finishes at the end of October. However there have been cases of hurricanes at the beginning of November. It has been surprisingly good in terms of weather in the Caribbean area. Cuba is hit an average of 1 or 2 hurricanes a year though so far - and lets cross our fingers – we have not been visited by a tropical storm, cyclone or hurricane. I have taken a look a satellite view of the Atlantic today and it seems like we are going to be safe for at least the first 2 weeks of October
