The sand is so white and it reflects most of the Sun light, making it nice and cool even at noon when the Sun in striking really bad. There is more to Cayo Largo than its beaches. It is a paradise of wild life. Huge sea turtles and iguanas can be seen on a daily basis on their natural habitat. For people interesting in fishing trips well there is no other better place than this little island in the Caribbean Sea. Tarpon and Bone fish are among the most popular for the fishing sport lovers. Cayo Largo is one of the few beach areas in Cuba that isn't over crowded with tourist. There are only few hotels in this island and there are lots of virgin beaches. To get there you need to take a domestic flight from Havana, unfortunately there is no other way unless of course you have your own boat. We have used for this itinerary one of the very best Hotels in Havana. Telegrafo hotel is in the heart of the Old Town. It is located just few meters from everything that is worth seeing in this area. The hotel itself has a lot of character and there are only few rooms so the service will be very personalized. After spending three nights in Havana, hopefully you would have enjoyed the real Cuban culture, magnificent architecture, vibrant night life and excellent music. We then will collect you very early in the morning (at around 6:00 AM) to transfer you to the airport in Havana where you will catch your flight to Cayo Largo. We have included 1 night at the end in Havana because there is no other way to make it to the airport for your international flight if you return the same day from Cayo Largo.
